dled was founded in 2004, on the heels of the accelerated global development and commercialization of white LED for residential use in the early 2000s. We were one of the first to identify the potential of LED lighting in architectural design, and have remained committed to technology and product innovation throughout the years. Since 2021, we are part of the Ein Hashofet Lighting Industries.
Ein Hashofet Lighting Industries was established in 1967 as Eltam Technologies, a young collective enterprise specializing in industrial manufacturing of lighting components and lighting control systems. Over the years, and thanks to a strong passion for success combined with a strict professional approach the group grew to become one of the leading lighting suppliers in Israel, and among the largest companies in Europe for chokes and lighting solutions for armed vehicles. In 2021, the group acquired Steinitz-Lirad, a veteran lighting company with a history of over two decades in managing lighting in the professional market, and leading projects of national magnitude that have become part of the landscape that every Israeli knows. As part of the Steinitz-Lirad purchase, Ein Hashofet Lighting Industries also obtained control of dled.

LED driver design: With 20 years of experience in developing LED drivers and LED applications, our electronics division delivers cutting edge solutions. Today, our focus is developing LED drivers and power supplies including DMX multi channels drivers, DOB (Driver on Board) and military standard drivers.
Precise optics: The illumination provided by LED fixtures is a direct result of optical performance, a combination of optical quality, efficiency, and effectiveness. At dled, we have a dedicated lighting simulation division chartered with ensuring maximum optical performance of our products, using the best optics available on the market, or developing custom optics as needed. The process of selecting the optics for each fixture is a complex process of lighting simulation, analysis and field tests.
